	RBN

RBN is an award-winning collaboration between RBN and six mult-disciplinary students (Harriet Hoover, Peg Gignoux, Kerry Robinson, Rachel Potenziani, Shawn Sowers, and myself). The focus of the project was on process, discovery, technology, and marketing strategies.

Our inspirations came from the colors and shapes that emerged from urban landscapes and the desire to create an experience for the user. RBN is designed so that the user can interact with the surface as they move across it. The interplay of fiber color and the exposed backing lets the user feel that they are the center of activity, surrounded in an aura of color. RBN recieved Silver in Broadloom at Neocon 2003 and was mentioned in Metropolis and Interior Design.
